Job summary

GreenShield is seeking an IT Change Manager to lead enterprise IT change and release management across applications and infrastructure, chair the CAB, and ensure governance and audit readiness. The role collaborates with IT and business units to balance innovation with stability and risk, guided by ITIL practices.

You will oversee change schedules, reporting, and stakeholder communications, while driving continuous improvement and ensuring documentation accuracy across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of IT Change and Release Management experience.
• Knowledge of IT Change Management principles and CAB.
• Experience with IT change management tools such as Ivanti HEAT, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to plan and maintain schedules.
• Highly adaptable in changing environments.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to document and enforce governance processes across diverse technical teams.
• Experience in regulated or audit-sensitive environments is a plus.
• Bilingual French/English would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise IT change and release management across applications and infrastructure.
• Chair and facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB), including risk assessment and approvals.
• Maintain CAB governance with charter, roles, responsibilities, workflows, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain consolidated change schedules, calendars, dashboards, and reporting; identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure effective communication of upcoming changes, timelines, risks, and impacts to all impacted teams and business units.
• Serve as the central point of contact and escalation for IT changes.
• Support Incident and Problem processes related to changes and participate in root cause analysis.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement through corrective actions and standardization.
