Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking an IS Workforce Manager to lead resource planning, forecasting and scheduling across Information Services. You will build resourcing models, analyze capacity, and influence leadership decisions to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

The role requires university-level education and at least 3 years in resource management, with strong analytics, communication, and stakeholder management. Flexible hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Expert resource management, capacity planning and forecasting for projects and activities.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent data analytics and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of technology services, systems and project management methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Effective relationship management, influencing, conflict resolution and change management skills.
• Self-starter who can pivot tasks quickly and manage priorities.
• MS Office / O365 experience.
• Nice to have CWPP certification.
• Banking or Finance industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Outline the best use of time and resources to meet prioritized business needs within the technology portfolio.
• Establish and maintain IS resourcing models, including long- and short-term forecasts.
• Provide IS resource recommendations and influence decisions with IS leadership and other departments.
• Aggregate and analyze data to prepare trends and insights for capacity decisions.
• Monitor resource allocations and report trends to address capacity issues and delays.
• Support executives, directors and managers with forecasting and cost-benefit analysis.
