Job summary

Apave Canada is expanding its field team in Edmonton, offering full-time roles for IRATA-certified Journeyman Electricians. This industrial environment focuses on rope access for maintenance, turnarounds, and projects.

You will perform inspections, assist with rope access setups, and collaborate with operations and technical services to deliver safe, compliant results. IRATA certification and Journeyman license are required; asbestos certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• IRATA certification (any level) is required.
• Journeyman Electrician ticket is required.
• Asbestos Certified is an asset.
• Maintenance and Projects scopes expertise is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performing industrial rope access work for maintenance, inspection, turnarounds, and construction activities.
• Conducting visual inspections and maintenance work on equipment, structures, and facilities.
• Assisting with the setup, inspection, and maintenance of rope access systems and equipment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and technical services, to complete projects and resolve issues.
• Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to industrial rope access.

Safety Requirements:

• Steel-toe boots are required; Apave Canada will provide additional PPE.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Great Health benefits package will be provided after a 3-month probationary period.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.
