Job summary

Apave Canada is seeking an IRATA-certified Journeyman Pipefitter for our Edmonton location to perform rope-access maintenance, inspection and construction activities on site at Suncor and related facilities.

The successful candidate must hold a Journeyman Pipefitter ticket and IRATA certification. Asbestos certification is an asset, with safety, quality and teamwork emphasized in a high-technical environment.

• IRATA certification (any level) is required.
• Asbestos Certified is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performing industrial rope access work for maintenance, inspection, and construction activities.
• Conducting visual inspections and maintenance work on equipment, structures, and facilities.
• Assisting with the setup, inspection, and maintenance of rope access systems and equipment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and technical services, to complete projects and resolve any issues.
• Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to industrial rope access

This is a 9/80 work schedule at Edmonton Suncor location.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.
