Job summary

Tacten Industrial Inc. is seeking Rope Access JP Electricians for long-term maintenance in the Fort McMurray area. This role features 12-hour shifts, FIFO from Alberta hubs, camp provided, and a focus on safe, efficient operation of industrial electrical systems.

Requirements include Journeyman Electrician Certification and IRATA Level 1 (or willingness to obtain). CSTS-09/OSSA BSO/CSO certifications are preferred. Opportunities for skills growth across Oil & Gas, Civil, and Engineering projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain electrical systems where required.
• Install and connect motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment.
• Identify issues, replace faulty components, ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Position Information

• Start Date September 8, 2026
• 6/1 rotation, 12-hour shifts
• IRATA Level 1 Certification required, or willingness to obtain
• Fly-in-fly-out from Alberta hubs
• Camp provided
• Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
• Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
• Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Position Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician Certification Required
• IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain

Safety Certifications
