Job summary

Apave Canada is seeking an experienced IRATA - Certified Journeyman Iron Worker to join our Edmonton team. The role involves performing industrial rope access work for maintenance, inspection, and construction activities on sites across the region.

You will conduct visual inspections, assist with rope access systems, and collaborate with operations and technical services. A valid Journeyman Ironworker ticket and IRATA certification are required, with assets such as CWB/TAC and asbestos

Qualifications

• Journeyman Ironworker ticket is required.
• IRATA certification (any level) is required or desired to attain.
• CWB or TAC qualification is an asset.
• Asbestos Certified is an asset.
• Maintenance and projects scopes knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial rope access work for maintenance, inspection, and construction activities.
• Conduct visual inspections and maintenance on equipment, structures, and facilities.
• Assist with setup, inspection, and maintenance of rope access systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects and resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to rope access.

Job Duties

• Performing industrial rope access work for maintenance, inspection, and construction activities.
• Conducting visual inspections and maintenance work on equipment, structures, and facilities.
• Assisting with the setup, inspection, and maintenance of rope access systems and equipment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and technical services, to complete projects and resolve any issues.
• Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to industrial rope access.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Health benefits will be provided after a

3-month probationary period.
