Job summary

Surrey Police Service is seeking a regular full-time Inventory Supervisor to lead the Procurement and Asset Management Unit. You will supervise staff, manage inventory including sensitive items, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures on-site in Surrey.

The role requires 3+ years in related work with 2 years in supervision, Grade 12 plus related courses, and security clearances (SPS and RCMP). Benefits include unionized CUPE 402 and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by related discipline courses.
• Minimum of three years related experience, including two years supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Requires SPS Security Clearance and RCMP Reliability Status with mandatory polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and staff leadership of inventory personnel.
• Oversees safekeeping, movement, and accounting of inventory and equipment.
• Maintains inventory levels, conducts audits, and reports variances.
• Prepares records, reports, and liaises with stakeholders.
• Leads process improvements and project activities related to inventory management.
• Performs related duties as required.
