Job summary

Burnaby RCMP Detachment is seeking Equipment Custodians for clerical and custodial duties in the equipment room. You will manage weapons and police gear, ensure readiness, perform minor repairs, and maintain records with minimal supervision.

Required Grade 12 plus related courses; intact driving licence and Enhanced RCMP clearance preferred. Pay rate is CAD 31.58/hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits. Shifts vary, with on-call duties possible.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 plus related courses and experience.
• Sound knowledge of weapons and police equipment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Track, receive, issue and store weapons and police equipment.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain equipment and supplies and prepare equipment kits.
• Prepare and maintain records, files and reports.
