We offer clients advanced in‑house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in‑house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn‑key solutions. In our busy industry, we consistently manage a strong and steady backlog of work extending well beyond a year, which ensures a secure and reliable workflow.

We are seeking a qualified electrical apprentice to fill a permanent full‑time position. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems.

Responsibilities
  • Electrical installation and control panel assemblies
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Layout of equipment while ensuring manufacturers installation instructions and all code requirements are adhered to.
  • Drilling holes and mounting equipment as per the general arrangement drawings
  • Install conduit and cable
  • Wire terminations of electrical equipment
  • Confirm wiring of components as they are completed.
  • Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately
  • Redline drawings as required during assembly
  • Review finished assembly for accuracy.
  • Occasional Site work and associated travel
  • Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Accredited trade school or equivalent
  • Experience:
    • 3+ Years of relevant electrical experience or equivalent
    • 3+ Years as a junior electrician or equivalent
