Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Intellectual Property Lawyer to join our fully remote legal team. You will advise clients on patents, trademarks, and copyrights, draft IP-related agreements, and manage IP portfolios from anywhere in South Africa.

The role requires a minimum of six years in IP law and admission as an attorney in SA, with strong drafting and negotiation skills. This position offers remote flexibility, a competitive salary, and opportunities to work with diverse technology

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, with experience as a Patent Attorney being advantageous.
• Minimum of 6 years of dedicated experience in Intellectual Property law.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating IP-related contracts.
• Strong understanding of IP registration processes and enforcement strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide commercially astute advice.
