Placements24 is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to join its fully remote legal team, delivering commercial, regulatory, and corporate support to the business from anywhere in Canada. You will work closely with internal units and external counsel to manage risk and ensure legal integrity across operations.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a remote setting while contributing to a dynamic company

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong foundation in corporate law and commercial contract drafting.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and dispute resolution is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
