Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service or insurance industry experience.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance license or willingness to obtain (RIBO or OTL).
• High School diploma or post-secondary education in Business, Insurance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support resource for Nova’s Insurance Agents by handling client inquiries via phone, email, and/or in-person.
• Prepare quotes, process policy transactions, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and other policy servicing requests.
• Assist with new business submissions and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer requests or policy-related tasks to ensure resolution.
• Maintain accurate customer and policy information within company systems.
• Assist with agency marketing efforts via outbound communications.
• Collaborate with team members across Underwriting, Claims and Finance to resolve inquiries efficiently.
• Support office operations through administrative tasks, record keeping, and general office management.
