Tannas Insurance, now part of Drayden Insurance Ltd., is seeking an Insurance Broker for our office in St. Paul, AB. You will assist clients, provide quotes, and sell policies while building lasting relationships with the community.

Ideal candidates hold a General Insurance License Level 1 and a high school diploma, with a drive for personal growth and strong interpersonal skills. This full-time role offers growth, bonuses, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily insurance needs in person, over the phone, or by email.
• Provide quotes and sell new policies to clients.
• Upsell products and services to new and existing clients.
• Generate client referrals through community involvement and events.
• Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding matters.

What You Will Do:

• Assist clients with their daily insurance needs in person, over phone or through e-mail
• Provide quotes and sell new policies to clients
• Up-selling of products and services to new and existing clients
• Generate client referrals through community involvement and events
• Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding matters
• Support clients throughout the claims process
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our Broker Management System
• Make timely renewal calls for existing client business
• Remain up to date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers
• Commit to self-development through internal training and industry education
• Knowledge of insurance company products, programs and payment plans

What you Bring to the Team:

• Completion of the General Insurance License, Level 1 is required prior to the first day of employment
• Completion of High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Drive and motivation for personal growth
• Ability to adapt to various computer programs
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Previous general insurance experience is an asset, but we welcome interested new to industry candidates
