Five Star Insurance is seeking an Insurance Broker to develop and manage personal and commercial lines, building strong client relationships and coordinating with carriers for tailored coverage. Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar advisory role.
• Knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance products, policy structures, and underwriting procedures.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with time management and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
• RIBO license or in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized insurance solutions for personal and commercial coverage needs.
• Evaluate clients’ existing policies and recommend adjustments to ensure adequate protection.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within personal and commercial lines.
• Research and compare insurance products from multiple carriers; present clear, customized options to clients.
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process.
• Monitor industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely advice.
• Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and internal stakeholders to negotiate terms and secure optimal outcomes for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, coverage details, and policy changes.
