Job summary

Qualifications

• One to three years of industry experience preferable, or a combination of relevant professional training and experience.
• Strong English communication skills written and spoken.
• Demonstrated people skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of products and services sold within our market; is an asset.
• Must be customer service driven.
• Good knowledge of MSOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Answers calls promptly, and professionally, listens attentively to the customers, understands and fulfils their needs.
• Responds to the customer’s inquiries in a timely manner.
• Negotiates special prices and conditions with customers and/or vendors as per criteria established by the Manager.
• Resolves customer service issues in a timely manner and follows up to verify commitments.
• Proactively suggests associated and/or alternate products as needed.
• Promotes focus product items to generate incremental sales.
• Informs the appropriate person of customer feedback regarding price, products, service, etc.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge on various product lines and broadens system knowledge.
