Job summary

Guillevin International in Edmonton, Alberta, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for the Fire & Safety line. You will sell products, process orders, and provide pricing and technical information while resolving customer issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of industry experience preferable, or a combination of relevant professional training and experience.
• Good English communication skills written and spoken.
• Demonstrated people skills; excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of products and customer service-driven approach.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of P21 operating system would be beneficial; local to Edmonton area.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls promptly and professionally, listens to customers, understands and fulfills their needs.
• Responds to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Negotiate special prices/conditions with customers/vendors as per manager criteria.
• Resolve customer service issues and verify commitments are met.
• Proactively suggests associated or alternate products to generate sales.
• Inform management of customer feedback on price, products, service.
