Job summary

ROBINSON in Steinbach, MB, is seeking an Inside Sales professional to join our family-owned team. You will communicate with customers by phone and email, provide timely quotations, process orders and returns, and coordinate with Outside Sales for deliveries.

You should be detail oriented, have strong math skills, and good organizational and communication abilities. Prior industry experience is an asset in a fast-growing Canadian distributor of plumbing and electrical products.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone and email.
• Provide quotations and process orders and deliveries.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost or specifications.
• Process customer transactions such as orders and returns.
• Educate customers about features and benefits of products to improve sales.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales for deliveries and contract updates.
• Assist with returns and warranties.
• Prepare quotes for small to medium jobs.
• Source and price products as per quote request.
• Maintain records of job quotes.

What you will do:

• Communicate with customers primarily by phone and email
• Provide timely quotations and accurate order processing and delivery
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
• Process customer transactions such as orders and returns
• Educate customers about features and benefits of products to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
• Communicating with Outside Sales people to update customer contracts and coordinate deliveries
• Assisting with select returns and warranties
• Prepare small to medium size job quotations
• Provide phone and email quotes to customers.
• Source and price product as per quote request.
• Maintain records of job quotes.
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
