Job summary

ROBINSON, a family-owned Canadian distributor of plumbing, heating, electrical, and lighting products, invites you to join our Inside Sales team at the Calgary location. You will interact with customers by phone and email, provide quotations, and help ensure timely order processing and delivery.

You will educate customers about product features, price alternatives, and coordinate with Outside Sales to update contracts and arrange deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone and email.
• Provide timely quotations and process orders and deliveries.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost or specs.
• Process transactions including orders and returns.
• Educate customers on product features to boost sales.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales to update contracts and deliveries.
• Prepare quotations for small to medium jobs.
• Source and price products per quote request.
• Maintain records of job quotes.
• Assist with returns and warranties.

We have an opening for Inside Sales at our Calgary plumbing location.

What you will do:

• Communicate with customers primarily by phone and email
• Provide timely quotations and accurate order processing and delivery
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
• Process customer transactions such as orders and returns
• Educate customers about features and benefits of products to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
• Communicating with Outside Sales people to update customer contracts and coordinate deliveries
• Assisting with select returns and warranties
• Prepare small to medium size job quotations
• Provide phone and email quotes to customers.
• Source and price product as per quote request.
• Maintain records of job quotes.
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
