About the Role

We're looking for our next keen and innovative Information Technology Risk Management Specialist to join our Security, Privacy & Compliance team. Reporting to the Director, Security, Privacy & Compliance, you'll support the ongoing delivery of IT Security, Privacy and Compliance risk management roadmap by acting as the Subject Matter Expert in third‑party IT risk management, user cyber awareness and crypto agility.

A Day in the Life
  • Manage IT risks – promptly identify risks, develop remediation options and ensure effective deployment of controls across key domains. Conduct IT risk assessments and support proactive management and compliance with governance frameworks for third parties, cybersecurity tools, user awareness and crypto posture.
  • Lead Third‑Party IT Risk Management Program – serve as the main point of contact for portfolio risk, control, performance and compliance posture monitoring and reporting.
  • Lead IT Risk Management Awareness and Training – develop and deliver Cyber Awareness October Program components. Act as main contact for the User Cyber Training Program, ensuring training relevance and alignment to metrics; monitor and report trends.
  • Lead Crypto Agility Risk Management Program – create and maintain the Crypto Posture Library, ensuring currency, completeness, accuracy and availability. Lead the development and delivery of the Crypto Agility Risk Management Program.
  • Ensure IT Risk Compliance – develop, implement, monitor and track controls and metrics to target compliance; timely identify and remediate deviations.
Qualities We’re Looking For
  • Knowledge of IT risk management frameworks, compliance standards and industry best practices.
  • 2‑3 years of experience in IT or third‑party IT risk management, IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance, user cyber awareness, IT risk reporting or documentation.
  • Experience with metrics development, measurement, reporting best practices, governance document management and IT risk control domains.
  • Familiarity with cryptography or strong interest in quantum computing and crypto agility.
  • Analytical thinker, cross‑functional collaborator, adaptable and composed in change management.
  • Passion for continuous learning in IT risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects concurrently and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to travel, valid passport, no travel restrictions for Canada, USA, Vietnam.
  • Comfortable in an agile, constantly changing environment and collaborative team culture.
  • Desire to be hands‑on in projects that offer learning and leadership development.
