Job summary

Lincoln Electric Canada, based in Edmonton, is seeking a sales professional to drive the sale, promotion and marketing of industrial products in line with budgets and company requirements. You will report to the District Manager and manage accounts, leads and opportunities across major distributors and customers.

You will prepare budgets and forecasts, collaborate with senior managers, and lead district marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Report to the District Manager and communicate all relevant sales/marketing matters.
• Develop and source leads, upsell existing accounts and prospect new business opportunities.
• Sell to major accounts, distributors, consulting engineering firms, and prospective customers.
• Prepare budgets, strategic plans, estimates and forecasts.
• Collaborate with senior managers across the company in advisory capacity.
• Lead district marketing and sales initiatives.
• Analyze competitive products, conduct customer research, and assess pricing and distribution strategies.
• Position Lincoln Electric products effectively at distributors and at point-of-purchase.
• Conduct on-site product trainings and coordinate demonstrations and logistics.
• Provide ongoing technical support and build distributor relationships.
• Maintain a high-profile public relations posture and lead sales meetings and trade shows.
• Abide by Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies.
