Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. in Canada is seeking mobile security personnel to protect an industrial/construction site. You will manage access, patrol the site, and ensure compliance with safety and PPE requirements while delivering professional customer service on behalf of the client.

This role offers exposure to security operations, practical training, and growth within the company. The position follows a Thursday to Saturday schedule, with early morning shifts and a pay rate of CAD 19.64 per

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License and Class 5 driving licence with a clean abstract.
• First Aid / CPR certification required.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk and drive for extended periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to write logs.
• Experience in security is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates and manage access cards.
• Patrol the site to maintain safety and security.
• Ensure entrants are documented and wearing PPE.
• Complete paperwork and maintain logs and records.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management for smooth operations.
• Deliver professional customer service and represent Securiguard and clients.
• Record and report incidents clearly, verbally and in writing.

Position Details

• Location: Sherwood Park
• Schedule: Thurs, Fri, Sat
• Shift: Morning
• Hours: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $19.64/hour

Note: Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test prior to deployment.

Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
• Class 5 licence with a clean abstract
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and drive for extended periods of time
• Strong Communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Previous security experience would be an asset
• Basic Computer Skills

Duties include but not limited to:

• Control access at gates, manage access cards, and greet/screen visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain overall site safety and security.
• Ensure all entrants are properly documented and wearing required PPE.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management to support smooth operations and client updates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Securiguard and our clients professionally.
• Accurately record and report incidents; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
