Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking a full-time Security Professional to join our team. The role supports site safety, access control, and visitor screening across day shifts on a 4-on/4-off schedule.

Qualified candidates hold an Alberta Security License with First Aid/CPR and WHMIS; prior security experience is preferred, and all must pass a drug and alcohol test before site access. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Schedule: 4 days on 4 days off

Timings: 7 am 7 pm

Requirements:

• Alberta Security License
• First Aid/CPR
• WHIMS
• Previous experience in Security
• Ability to work day shifts
• Must be able to go in for clean drug & alcohol test before site access.

Duties for this Key Role include:

• Control access at gates, manage access cards, and greet/screen visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain site safety and security.
• Respond professionally to situations involving vulnerable individuals.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management for smooth operations and client updates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Securiguard and clients professionally.
• Record and report events accurately; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
