Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. in Sherwood Park seeks mobile security personnel to oversee a client site on a 4 nights on / 4 nights off overnight schedule. This role offers growth within the company and hands‑on experience on a steady assignment.

Pay rate is $19.64/hour. You must hold a valid Security Guard License, First Aid/CPR, and a Class 5 license with a clean abstract; you should be able to stand, walk, drive, and complete logs accurately. Drug and alcohol testing is required before deployment.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate.
• Class 5 licence with a clean abstract.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and drive for extended periods of time.
• Strong Communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Previous security experience would be an asset.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates, manage access cards, and greet/screen visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain overall site safety and security.
• Ensure all entrants are properly documented and wearing required PPE.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management to support smooth operations and client updates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Securiguard and our clients professionally.
• Accurately record and report incidents; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Position Details

• Type: Full Time
• Location: Sherwood Park
• Schedule: 4 nights on / 4 nights off
• Shift: Overnight
• Hours: 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM
• Pay Rate: $19.64/hour

Note: Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test prior to deployment.
