Job summary

Fairmont Château Laurier is seeking an In-Room Dining Server in Ottawa to deliver exceptional service to guests in-room and in outlets. You will assist guests with menu selections, maintain full knowledge of beverage lists, and ensure timely delivery and accurate setup of orders.

The role requires prior culinary and F&B service experience, strong communication in both official languages, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Smart Serve certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the culinary field required
• Previous Food & Beverage service experience required
• Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills in both official languages
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Smart Serve Certification

Job Description

Reporting to the Outlets Leadership Team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
