Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare in Kitchener is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support in-home and community visits. The role offers a flexible schedule with a mix of in-person and virtual sessions across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and Wellington County.

Essential requirements include a Masters in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Ontario College of OT. Prior in-home OT experience is an asset; drivers license is required to serve multiple areas.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists is required.
• One year of in-home Occupational Therapy experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and establish and update treatment plans with goals and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate records according to Ontario guidelines.
• Collaborate with health team members and educate clients about treatment strategies.
• Supervise others in the Occupational Therapy program as needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with Bayshore policies.
