Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for casual, independent contractor work in Windsor, ON and surrounding areas. The role involves in-home assessments and interventions to support clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, educating clients, and collaborating with the health team. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and provincial registration; two years of OT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and provincial registration.
• At least two years of in-home Occupational Therapy experience.
• Experience with auto insurance and medical/legal report writing is an asset.
• Vaccination may be required by provincial regulations depending on policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and establish and revise treatment plans and discharge goals.
• Maintain current clinical records according to College of Occupational Therapists standards.
• Collaborate with health team and communicate recommendations to clients and care providers.
• Observe and guide staff assisting in the Occupational Therapy program.
