In-home caregiver – private home – AlKa… family

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is March 1, 2026.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.

Location: AlKa… lives in Westmount, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus (#66) is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is The Boulevard and Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges

Duties may include:

• This job is to help with the care of two children aged 13 years old, and 10 years old.
• Supervision of children when parents are not at home, and take the child to and from appointments
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• General housework that will include doing laundry and some ironing.
• Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
• Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
• Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
