You will liaise with customers, carriers, and internal teams to keep shipments moving smoothly within CargoWise. This role offers occasional air import coverage, requires 3–5 years' ocean import experience and strong English skills; a bilingual French/English asset is highly valued

Responsibilities

  • Support exception management and problem resolution.

Our client is hiring an Import Operations Specialist to join a growing freight forwarding team in Montreal – West Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, service-driven logistics professional with hands‑on ocean import experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being a key part of daily operations.

About the Role

This position is focused primarily on Ocean import operations, managing shipments arriving from Europe and other global origins. You’ll play a central role in coordinating import files, ensuring timely processing, maintaining strong communication with customers and partners, and keeping shipments moving efficiently from origin to destination.

This role will also provide occasional support for air import activities as needed for team coverage, so an openness to cross‑training and learning is important.

Key Responsibilities
