Job summary

CJ Logistics Corporation in Mississauga is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate with shippers, warehouses, truckers and customers, providing shipment status and resolving inquiries to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires an international forwarding or transportation diploma/degree, 1+ year in ocean/air freight forwarding or trucking coordination, knowledge of INCOTERMS, strong Excel skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: International forwarding or Transportation diploma/degree.
• Experience: +1 years in ocean/air freight forwarding, border shipment or trucking coordination.
• Knowledge in INCOTERMS and experience in handling Ex works or FOB term ocean shipments.
• MS Excel proficiency is necessary.
• Meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in international freight forwarding coordination and documentation is MUST (Ocean or Air).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with shippers, bonded warehouses, truckers and all other functional means as required.
• Interact with customers; provide shipment status, handle customer complaints and concerns.
• Resolve issues respective to customer inquiries, data input and general customer service related to tracking & tracing.
• Amazon_Customer Service/Internal Sales: Provide quotes, follow up with shipping documents, update shipment status, assisting customs clearance.
• Arrange long-haulage and Amazon trucking shipment to make sure accurate pickup/delivery appointment.
• Book AC space and make paperwork (CI/PL and MAWB etc.).
• Track incoming/outgoing ocean/air cargo and domestic shipments.
• Upload POs and SOs on the WMS and freight forwarding system and send invoices to customers.
• Request AP team for various COD payments of duties, taxes, and transportation of imported goods and bonds to cover duty goods
