City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking a Recruitment Partner to join the People Services team in Lindsay. You will lead full-cycle recruitment and advise managers on practices, legislation and policy, while collaborating with unions and stakeholders to deliver equitable hiring decisions.

The role focuses on developing strategies, improving processes, and delivering training to hiring teams. Hybrid work options are available, with a temporary full-time status to cover parental leave.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum three years progressive experience in HR with recruitment and labour relations.
• Experience in multi-union environments in public sector is an asset.
• CHRP designation or willingness to obtain.
• Experience using recruitment tech and assessments.

Responsabilités

• Lead full-cycle recruitment with hiring managers, from postings to offers.
• Provide guidance on recruitment practices, legislation and policies.
• Build relationships with managers, employees, and union reps to meet staffing needs.
• Develop sourcing strategies for a wide range of municipal roles.
• Support internal recruitment, transitions, layoff and recall processes.
• Review processes and contribute to policy and tool development.
• Track recruitment metrics and suggest improvements.
• Participate in People Services projects and training delivery.
