Job summary

The City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking a Recruitment Partner to join the People Services team in Lindsay on a temporary full-time basis. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, advise hiring managers, and build relationships across the organization while ensuring fair, compliant hiring under municipal policies.

Collaborative and proactive, you will support recruitment strategies, use data to inform decisions, and participate in People Services initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum three years' progressive experience in human resources with recruitment.
• Experience in a multi-union environment; municipal or broader public sector experience is an asset.
• CHRP designation or willingness to obtain and maintain.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, online recruitment platforms, social media and other recruitment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment: partner with hiring managers from postings to offers.
• Provide trusted advice on recruitment practices and policies.
• Build strong relationships with managers, employees, union reps and People Services colleagues.
