Job summary

SkyAlyne is seeking a Project Controller in Ottawa (hybrid) to ensure effective coordination, planning and control of the FAcT program. You will collaborate with the PMO, Work Pack Leads and subcontractors to monitor progress, budgets and schedules.

The role supports risk management, data analysis and continuous improvement across project lifecycles, reporting milestones and data deliverables to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in engineering preferred; will consider business, finance or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in project management and project lifecycle.
• Certification in Earned Value Management or PMP preferred.
• Proven experience delivering projects and deployments.
• Familiarity with federal aviation regulations and practices.
• Proficiency with Project Management tools.
• Ability to communicate with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with data accuracy.
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera Cloud, EBS R12 and Unifier would be an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Project would be an asset.
• Ability to hold Government of Canada Secret level security clearance and Controlled Goods Clearance.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Strong English; French would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute the control processes implemented by the PMO.
• Coordinate with PMO, Work Pack Leads, Engineers and planners to organize milestones.
• Support scheduling with Work Pack Leads on an ongoing basis.
• Assist all integration activities during deployment of the FAcT program.
• Review deliverable status and communicate critical paths to stakeholders.
• Conduct risk analysis and monitor mitigation plans.
• Utilize PM and financial tools for estimates, reviews, change controls and costing.
• Develop and maintain detailed work plans with schedules, milestones and documents.
• Identify blockers and bottlenecks across the life cycle.
• Track and report project statuses, risks and milestones.
• Perform post-implementation audits and drive improvements.
• Monitor deliverables for PMO quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned.
