Definity is seeking a Specialist, [PI Operations Reporting & Analysis] to support Personal Insurance leadership with business performance reporting, financial analysis, and actionable insights. The role partners with Finance and stakeholders to drive planning, forecasting, and performance improvements.

The position emphasizes accuracy and consistency of reporting, with opportunities to automate and enhance dashboards and scorecards in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• 3-5 years in business performance reporting, financial analysis, FP&A or management reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and executive business performance reporting for Personal Insurance leadership.
• Analyze financial and operational results against plan, forecast, and prior periods to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop clear business insights and performance commentary to support decision-making.
• Support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, executive reporting packages, and ad hoc analysis requests.
• Contribute to annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities.
• Develop and maintain performance models, scorecards, KPIs, and reporting tools to measure business results.
• Enhance reporting processes through automation, dashboard development, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
