Job summary

Match Retail is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team in a hybrid role reporting to the Vice President, Finance. This position focuses on financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and month-end activities, delivering insights to support strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with operational leaders, analyze performance, and produce accurate financial reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of FP&A, financial controllership, or similar finance role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft GP or Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• CPA designation, CPA candidate, CFA studies, or similar asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the VP, Finance with financial analysis, business reviews, and management reporting.
• Analyze revenue, client profitability, operating expenses, payroll costs, and cash flow trends.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
• Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting activities.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and monitor daily cash positions.
• Analyze AR/AP trends to support cash flow management.
• Participate in month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for operational leaders.
