Definity Financial Corporation seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, Performance Measurement, to deliver P&L reporting, analysis, and insights for Personal and Commercial Insurance. You will work with senior finance partners to prepare line-of-business reports, executive materials, and forward-looking analysis in a fast-paced public company.

This role collaborates with actuarial, underwriting and business teams, supports month-end close and forecasting for the National Broker Platform, and leverages

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Math/Statistics or related field
• CPA designation (completed or in late stages)
• 3+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or performance measurement experience
• P&C insurance knowledge considered an asset
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM / Hyperion is a plus
• Interest in applying AI-enabled tools within financial reporting and analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior management
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive mindset to identify and execute improvements

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reporting for Personal and Commercial Insurance
• Produce executive and board-level reporting with clear explanations of results and trends
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, claims, and business teams to analyze results vs plan
• Support month-end close processes, journal entries, allocations, and result reviews
• Contribute to planning and forecasting for the National Broker Platform
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting quality and efficiency
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analytics processes
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses for evolving business priorities
