Definity Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, to support its value realization framework across the organization. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will track and report financial and operational value from strategic initiatives and enterprise programs with emphasis on current and future M&A activity.

You will work with cross-functional partners on synergy modeling, baselines, targets, and actuals; support quarterly forecasts and annual planning; and deliver

Qualifications

• Completion or working toward CPA designation.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• 3+ years experience in Finance.
• Experience with value realization, synergy tracking, enterprise program reporting, or post-merger integration is an asset.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and PowerPoint.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Influential partner capable of driving alignment across diverse teams.
• Strong communicator comfortable presenting at the executive level.
• Operationally minded leader who understands how financial and non-financial levers drive business performance.
• Change champion who can introduce new processes and gain buy-in across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the enterprise-wide value realization reporting, processes and governance.
• Prepare synergy modeling and performance tracking for all current and future mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Develop detailed analysis and reporting for baselines, targets, and actuals related to strategic initiative value achievement and synergy realization.
• Support quarterly forecasts and annual planning cycle.
• Work closely with business partners to assess value capture opportunities and impacts.
• Deliver detailed analysis to support decision-making and help leadership understand trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare materials to support regular reporting to executive leadership and Board.
