Job summary

Definity is seeking a Specialist for PI Operations Reporting & Analysis within Personal Insurance. The role focuses on delivering monthly and quarterly performance reporting, financial analysis, and actionable insights to leadership.

You will collaborate with Finance and stakeholders to drive planning, forecasting, and performance improvements across the Personal Insurance portfolio. The position emphasizes automation, dashboards, scorecards, and clear commentary to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in business performance reporting, financial analysis, planning and forecasting, FP&A, or management reporting.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; BI/reporting tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and executive business performance reporting for Personal Insurance leadership.
• Analyze financial and operational results against plan, forecast, and prior periods to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop clear business insights and performance commentary to support decision-making.
• Support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, executive reporting packages, and ad hoc analysis.
• Contribute to annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities.
• Develop and maintain performance models, scorecards, KPIs, and reporting tools to measure business results.
• Enhance reporting processes through automation, dashboard development, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, business leaders, and stakeholders to deliver performance insights, recommendations, and strategic business support.
