Job summary

A major insurance provider in Toronto is seeking an Operations Analyst to coordinate training programs and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities include onboarding new staff, performing quality checks, and reconciling premium transactions. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in operations or finance, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with Power BI. This hybrid role offers a supportive work environment and aims for continuous improvement in operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Operations area.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Operations area.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver onboarding and technical training for new staff.
  • Perform quality checks on premium booking and reporting.
  • Act as a liaison between operations and audit teams.
  • Reconcile premium transactions against reports.
  • Support audit processes and prepare documentation.
  • Analyze and interpret reports including Power BI.
  • Conduct training needs assessments.
  • Report departmental metrics within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Maintain documentation for smooth operations.
