Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Major Projects team on large-scale Canadian infrastructure initiatives. You will manage schedules, coordinate stakeholders, and handle project documentation to keep clients and teams aligned.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of construction experience, an engineering degree or diploma, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service within a collaborative IPD environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in construction or related field.
• University degree or technology diploma in Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated project coordination and teamwork experience.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Provide project coordination and administrative support to the project team with strong attention to detail.
• Foster open communication among team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients while delivering excellent client service.
• Review, interpret, and maintain construction schedules, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate and track shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotations, and project closeout docs.
• Review, collect, and analyze project quotations to secure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and maintain company-wide project reports for assigned projects.
• Promote safety standards and HS&E programs on site.
