Qualifications

Responsibilities

Under supervision, conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of systems. Ensure high customer satisfaction through on-site interaction. Mentor mechanical technicians on building automation. Complete all project and service documentation properly.

How You Will Do It
  • Diagnose and repair complex electronic control system malfunctions, requiring extensive knowledge of control systems and ability to test and modify software.
  • Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections.
  • Communicate with customers regarding services and system enhancements, promoting additional work when appropriate.
  • Manage work to meet deadlines and customer expectations, report issues immediately, and coordinate with relevant managers and subcontractors.
  • Follow safety standards, provide safety awareness, and train customers and staff on system operations.
  • Complete job documentation such as certificates, training forms, and punch lists.
  • Engage in self-study to maintain technical proficiency and complete certifications as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Vocational or Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, or related field.
  • Three years of industry experience or five years servicing electronic/mechanical systems in HVAC.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications.
  • Technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
  • Ability to use tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Proficiency with personal computers.
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills.
