Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for people and processes? Join our team as an HR Assistant and play a key role in creating a seamless employee experience.

What You’ll Do

As an HR Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of our HR operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a people-first approach. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting recruitment efforts: updating job descriptions, posting roles, and coordinating interviews
  • Managing employee data: new hires, departures, transfers, and more
  • Coordinating bi-weekly payroll and liaising with our third-party processor
  • Setting up new employees in payroll, benefits, and internal systems
  • Handling payroll year-end processes and ensuring compliance with legislative deadlines
  • Preparing month-end reports, journal vouchers, and cheque requisitions
  • Maintaining HRIS and employee records
  • Responding to HR and payroll inquiries with clarity and care
  • Supporting additional HR initiatives as needed

What You Bring

  • Experience in an ISO Certified environment is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a people-first mindset
