GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for processing and maintaining personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, disciplinary, performance and leaves of absence. Will provide administrative and/or HR support to staff and visitors to allow for efficient and accurate operation of business processes. Will explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants and assist in the coordination of employee onboarding and orientation. Review employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions. Answer questions regarding eligibility, benefits, and other pertinent information. Supports Human Resources, managers and staff through a variety of tasks requiring a high level of organization and communication. Perform Human Resources related tasks as determined by the Human Resources Manager and includes the processing of confidential staff issues. Assists in recruitment, onboarding and termination of employees. Tasks must be completed accurately, with high quality and in a timely confidential manner. Knowledge and application of company policies is essential.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Work experience in an office environment required
Ability to communicate with all levels of company
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of office systems and procedures
