The human resources advisor acts as an advisor to managers and employees, supporting them in all aspects of human resources management. He will play a key role in developing and implementing HR best practices, thereby contributing to proactive management that is aligned with organizational objectives.
Role and responsibilities
- Provide managers with advice and expertise in all areas of human resources management, such as labor relations, compensation, performance management, training and development, coaching, and employee engagement.
- Act as a change agent to support senior management, managers, and employees.
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures, drawing on best practices;
- Inform/ guide employees and managers in interpreting existing policies and procedures, and labor laws;
- Advise managers on managing and improving employee performance and team development;
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a work environment promoting employee well-being and development;
- Develop and implement processes to ensure effective human resources management by managers;
- Support the talent acquisition advisor with the onboarding and integration process for new employees;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of human resources programs and processes;
- Manage and support the implementation of certain HR projects and initiatives in collaboration with team members;
- Establish, review, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to their improvement;
- Be involved in organizing HR activities and CMP events;
- All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management ;
- 2-3 years' relevant experience in personal human resources management, ideally in a consulting role;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external customers.
- Discretion, diplomacy, good judgment and ability to represent the employer well.
- Master the French and English language (communication and uniformization of practices with CMP-NY).
