Job summary

Bath Fitter is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Advisor to partner with manufacturing operations and drive the employee experience on the shop floor.

You will support managers on employee relations, performance, engagement, and talent development, with a strong on-the-floor presence to ensure practical, compliant HR programs across shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • CRHA/CRIA designation or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing and operational leaders to support performance, engagement, and talent development objectives.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to understand operational realities and foster a positive work environment.
  • Participate in labour relations committee activities and ensure follow-up and documentation.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, programs, and procedures while ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Support investigations, employee matters, and administrative follow-ups when required.
  • Contribute to recognition programs, onboarding initiatives, employee engagement activities, and various HR projects.
  • Manage workplace injury files and related claims administration.

What is the ideal profile for this position?
  • You are recognized for your hands-on approach, your ability to build strong relationships, and your passion for supporting both employees and managers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • CRHA/CRIA designation or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Availability and flexibility to occasionally adjust your schedule to support operational teams across different shifts when required (day, evening and night).
  • Strong leadership, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to influence in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent French communication skills, both written and verbal.
