Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a Corporate HR Operations Coordinator in Canada to join our HR Shared Services team. You will handle day-to-day HR transactions, onboarding coordination, and data accuracy to ensure a consistent employee experience across the Americas.

You will serve as a primary contact for HR inquiries, manage onboarding activities, and support process improvements while leveraging Zendesk and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification, or active pursuit thereof (Preferred)
• 2–4 years of experience in an HR coordinator, HR assistant, or HR administrative support role (Required)
• Demonstrated experience processing HR transactions and/or supporting onboarding workflows (Required)
• Experience using a ticketing or case management system (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar) (Preferred)
• Bilingual English/French (Canadian) (Required)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries; triage and resolve via Zendesk.
• Manage ticket queue with timely responses and maintain case notes and resolution documentation.
• Escalate complex requests to HR Ops Manager or HR Business Partner as appropriate.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks, references, and offer docs; process work authorization docs.
• Manage new hire setup in HRIS and Day 1 readiness across stakeholders.
