Job summary

Baxter in Mississauga is seeking an HR Generalist to support multiple client groups with employee relations, onboarding, leave administration, compliance, and HR program execution. You will partner with leaders to ensure HR processes and programs are delivered effectively across the organization.

The role requires 1+ years in HR coordination or related HR functions, knowledge of ESA/AODA, and experience with HRIS. A BA is preferred and Ontario-based employment experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of HR coordination/operational support experience.
• Knowledge of Ontario ESA, AODA, Human Rights Code.
• Experience administering employee leaves and return-to-work.
• Experience using HRIS and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple HR processes under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance to people leaders on employee relations and development.
• Serve as primary HR contact for inquiries and resolve routine issues.
• Support enterprise HR programs including compensation reviews and workforce planning.
• Coordinate and administer new hire onboarding and training compliance.
• Communicate HR policies to managers and staff.
• Administer employee leave programs per legislation and policy.
• Manage return-to-work processes and maintain HR records.
