We are seeking an Ontario-based HR Generalist to join our team. Our hybrid work model involves remote work with onsite support at various client locations, and occasional travel may be required.

What You Will Do

1. Day-to-day HR support: Assist HR Business Partners with onboarding, offboarding, HR administration, employee relations, investigations, health and safety programs, and other HR functions.
2. Compliance Support: Ensure HR processes comply with local employment laws and standards, including policy creation, handbook development, and HR audits.
3. Recruitment Support: Assist with client recruitment efforts, including job posting, resume review, interviews, reference checks, offer letters, and sourcing.
4. Software Management: Oversee updates and changes to HR software, lead HRIS implementations, and manage LMS and other client support software.
5. Project Support: Support HR programs, performance management processes, compensation analysis, KPI reporting, and project tracking.
6. On-site HR Support: Provide onsite support such as meetings, investigations, inspections, and other activities as needed.

Who You Are

• At least 2 years in a client-facing HR support role.
• Minimum 1 year of full-cycle high-volume recruitment experience.
• Degree or diploma in HR or related field; CHRP designation is an asset.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and relevant regulations.
• Strong time management, data analysis, and organizational skills.
• Passionate about HR and staying current with industry trends.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with limited information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HR systems, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and payroll software.
• Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
