Job summary

Ontario Learning Development Foundation (OLDF) in Brampton is seeking recent graduates or students to join our Human Resources team. You will provide experience in Recruitment, Selection, Administration, Payroll and Training and Development, in a hybrid in-person/remote setup for about 30 hours per week on a 2-month contract.

This Canada Summer Job role targets youths aged 15 to 30 who are citizens, permanent residents or conventional refugees.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a relevant post-secondary program focusing on Human Resources.
• Understanding of employment legislation and HR processes.
• Knowledge of full-cycle recruitment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with virtual recruitment activities and resume review.
• Coordinate interview schedules and reference checks.
• Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation.
• Maintain HR data and employee files, digital and physical.
• Support performance management and HR reporting.
