About The Role

On-site | Full-time

This position assists in recruiting, administrative functions, employee relations, and communications within the ALS Human Resource Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to routine calls & emails from employees.
  • Handle requests for information from external sources (reference checks, personnel files, wage info).
  • Support recruitment activities.
  • Ensure adherence to recruitment policies and standards.
  • Assist with offer letters and coordinate new hire orientations.
  • Maintain and update employee files and HR documentation.
  • Organize employee relations events and manage HR intranet content.
  • Support organizational development initiatives and other HR projects.
  • Observe safety regulations and comply with ALS policies.
  • Ensure invoices are correctly coded and processed.
  • Assist with recognition and reward programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
About You
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Judgment, creativity, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to handle escalations and time-sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or university degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or office administration is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Sitting at a desk for general office work.
  • Using a computer screen for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Communicating via phone and email.
