WorkLink Employment Society has a summer opportunity available for a dedicated individual aspiring to work in Human Resources. During this 4-month contract, you will provide administrative support to various HR functions and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace with 40 employees. Working under the guidance of a mentor, you will gain practical knowledge and confidence by the end of the term.
This is an onsite position working up to 35 hours per week.
Wage: $20.20/hr
WorkLink has provided government-sponsored employment services to the residents of the Victoria Capital Region’s Westshore (Colwood, Langford, Highlands, View Royal, and Metchosin) since 1978. In 2008, our services expanded to include Sooke and surrounding areas, including Jordan River and Port Renfrew. We also offer Indigenous outreach services to the First Nations Communities of Beecher Bay, T’Souke, and Pacheedaht. Our non-profit organization is funded through federal and provincial government initiatives. WorkLink is a registered charity in BC, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors from the community.
